TOP Hockey provides a competitive hockey pathway for players ages 4 and up, focusing on our core values of quality coaching, character building, long-term development, and a seasonal set schedule that make it easier for kids to play multiple sports.
For the 2025-2026 hockey season, we are excited to introduce two new TOP Hockey programs for the first time! Based out of NTR Richmond Hill (Elgin Mills & Bayview), and the new Honey and Barry Memorial Arena, we will be offering the following programs:
Learn-to-Play Hockey
Ages 4-6
Our Learn-to-Play hockey program is designed for beginner players who want to improve their hockey skills in a fun, engaging environment. Our program is built to incorporate progressive age-appropriate development with engaging activities and drills to create the optimal environment for kids to improve, have fun, and fall in love with the game!
Powerskating & Skills
Ages 6-9
NEW for the 2025-2026 season we are excited to introduce our Powerskating and Skills Program to the TOP Hockey York Region player pathway. Designed for players born 2016-2019, this program is a development-focused program that combines high-quality professional coaching with a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on Powerskating combined with specific hockey skills.
U8 Rep Team (Select/MD)

NEW for the 2025-2026 season, the TOP Hockey U8 team offers an innovative approach to competitive hockey that features professional coaches, quality player development, and a unique multi-sport schedule. Rep teams generally feature 3x practices per week throughout the September to April season, as well as games, festivals, and tournaments against other independent minor hockey clubs. For the 2025-2026 season, we expect the U8 Team to play approximately 12-15 games.
