Learn-to-Play Program
Program Overview
The TOP Hockey Learn-to-Play program is one of the only programs that combines professional coaching and high-quality development with a fun and engaging program designed to help our youngest players get the most out of hockey! Our program provides a perfect introduction for beginner players to improve their skills with the goal of moving to our Rep Teams for the following season.
In each skill development session, players in our program will receive structured on-ice training from professional coaches. During the session, players rotate through the following activities: Skating, Game-Based Skill Development, and Small Area Games. This progression from technical instruction to constraint-based games to gameplay helps participants learn and master the fundamental skills of hockey faster, while also helping to foster a love for the sport.
