For Active Start, players rotate through physical literacy and soccer-based activities focused on fundamental movement skills and small-area games. FUNdamentals and Learn-to-Train players participate in a structured weeknight skill development session paired with a weekend game, allowing athletes to learn new techniques and immediately apply them in a game setting.

FAQs

Common Questions

Do you run tryouts for the Sixes League?

No, the Sixes League is inclusive and development-focused. Players are grouped to keep games balanced and fun, and all athletes receive coaching regardless of prior experience.

What equipment is required?

Helmet w/ cage, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, stick, and athletic shoes or cleats. A pinnie is provided. Hockey equipment can be used in lieu of formal field lacrosse equipment.

Can my child play other TOP sports at the same time?

Yes. Our schedule is designed to support multi-sport athletes. There are virtually no conflicts with TOP Hockey and TOP Soccer to encourage year-round variety.

What's the weekly format?

Sessions follow a Game-Activity-Game model: short game block, station-based skill work, and a final game. Expect high engagement, lots of touches, and guided decision-making.
